I had this saved in Notepad but never got to read it.
I think it’s from NAREBEAR !? [;

So there was a certain someone who wrote to me on Formspring a while ago, and it was about liking two different girls. I think it’s time to go over that subject, for both sexes. This is gonna be an extremely long entry, so I’ll try to write it in a way where you can skip to the section that best fits your situation.

For the guys:

So, you like two girls. Maybe more, it sucks, torn between them, not knowing which one to go for, right? The bad idea is to go for both (or in some cases, “all”) of them. What I’m here to do is try to help you narrow down which girl you should go for. Not to be mean or picky, but it’s just sort of a guideline.

  • How do I know which one to chase after?

More often than not, each of these girls will be different, both in personality or lifestyle. Maybe from different cliques, different cultures, whatever, but I’ll try to go over what I can.

  • Girl #1 - DGAF Chick

This is sort of self explanatory… the DGAF girl doesn’t well… give a fxck. She likes to party, flirts a lot, and has fun being single. There’s a good chance that she drinks, hopefully no drugs, but she’s fun to be around. Usually hangs out with a lot of guys, so that could prove, um, “worrying.” The fact that she hangs out with all these dudes can mean that you’ll get jealous, A LOT, and that you’ll get sort of protective of her. The constant flirting also sends off a lot of mixed messages. Do not go for this girl. Chances are, you’ll be happy that it seems like she’s into you up until you find out she’s like that to almost every guy. You got played, son.

  • Girl #2 - The Shy Girl

The Shy Girl is usually really cutesy, and usually hangs out with a lot of other cutesy girls too. Probably a little awkward around guys, but in a good way. They’re usually really nice, and actually pretty sweet, so if you get them mad you know you did something wrong. To be honest, it’s kind of easy to tell whether or not she likes you, ‘cause she’ll probably smile real big, blush, or try to hold in some of her feelings if you do something sweet for her, or you two come into eye contact. Do go for this girl. Don’t let her butterflies get the best of the soon-to-be relationship, because she’s quite the catch. Just make sure you do something really sweet, alright?

  • Girl #3 - The Nice Girl

Ooooooooooooooooooh you fell for a NG huh? This is both good and bad. Nice Girls are really sweet, and obviously, extremely nice. Due to their extremely caring nature, most of the time they end up good friends with everyone, one way or another. While it’s a good thing that you fell for a Nice Girl, because if you two do happen to move on to a relationship that goes past being friends, you’ll be the happiest that you can ever hope to be. The bad part is, it’ll be extremely hard to tell whether or not she likes you because she cares about everyone and goes out of her way to make sure they’re alright. It is completely up to you whether or not you want to go for this girl. There’s a 50/50 chance on this, so don’t rush in. Take things slow, hint at her a little bit, maybe get the help of a friend to try and figure things out. Just be careful, and if you decide to let out your feelings, don’t come off as obsessive.

  • Girl #4 - The Underrated Girl

This is the girl who is actualy very, very attractive. As in cute, or pretty, not “hot.” Usually hangs out with a small group of friends, maybe 6-7 girls, and talks to maybe 2-4 guys. She always smiles big? Always remembers when you’ve got a special occassion, and gives you the bestest hugs? You know the girl. She’s extremely sweet, and super nice, so I’m guessing that you so happen to talk to her almost every day, am I right? Be careful when going after this girl. It’s very, very hard to tell whether or not she likes you, too, or or if she’s just being nice. One way to know, without being too sneaky, or over-analystic, is to bring her something she likes. Preferrably on a Friday, if you go to school together. Something…small. Maybe if she likes chocolate, or gummie worms, maybe something other than candy, bring her that. Even if she is that girl that smiles big, or gives the tightest hugs, there’s no doubt her reactions going to be a little different if she’s into you.

  • Girl #5 - The All-Around Girl

And I quote, “You can’t forget the girl who is hard to get. Pretty attractive, funny, sweet, but yet pretty mean and somewhat badass.” Thank you, Formspring. Anyway, as I was saying. This girl is the one that’s hard to get. She’s got a sense of humor, and has a soft spot for romance stuff, but that doesn’t mean she can’t be mean every once in a while. As a guy, she’ll be pretty hard to understand, intimacy wise, because she’s not afraid to be herself and treats everyone like a good friend, but can still stand up to you if you get on her nerves. She’s worth it. If you’re gonna go after her, make sure you think things out. Don’t plan it to the point where you’re being fake, just be careful, ‘cause you can send off the wrong message. She’s hard to get, sure, but don’t be discouraged. If things work out, you’ll be glad you went through what you did to be able to call her yours.

For the girls:

So, you like more than just one, huh? I’m guessing they must be really sweet to you, for you to be torn between two (or more), and now you have to choose one, or else you wont be getting anywhere anytime soon.

  • How do I know which guy to pick?

Listen, they’re different people. Obviously they have different personalities, and probably hangout with different people on a daily basis. Different cliques, lifestyle, etc. I’ll try to go over what I can to try and help you sort this out.

  • Guy #1 - The Jerk

Okay, this guys a jerk. I’m guessing he can be nice, sometimes, that’s probably what has you hooked. Or maybe he’s a jerk when you’re around the boys, but when you’re alone, he’s extremely sweet. Don’t go for this guy. It’s not worth it.

  • Guy #2 - The Flirt

He flirts a lot, obviously, and maybe deep down he’s pretty sweet at times. Probably dresses nice too, and is pretty cute, though he talks to a whole load of people. All these other girls could get you jealous if you notice he happens to talk to one of them a lot more than he does you, but try not to lose your cool. It might seem that he’s different from the other guys, but try not to be fooled, there’s still a chance he’s out just to get what he wants. Be careful. I don’t advise going for this guy, he’s pretty DGAF and probably parties a lot, so you never know what might happen.

  • Guy #3 - The Shy Guy

This is the guy who’s not too popular, and hangs out with a small handful of friends, most likely a couple guys that he spends the entire day with, just chillin’. He’s usually pretty nice, and sweet, if he can get the courage to go through with his plan. If you like this kind of guy, and he does something cute for you, go for him. If he does something cute for you, like oh, say, surprise you with something, definitely go for him. You obviously mean something to him - enough for him to plan something for you, although he probably blushes a lot when you’re around each other.

  • Guy #4 - The Nice Guy/Underrated Guy

Oh snap, a NG. These two fall in the same category, because most of the time, they’re actually pretty cute, and extremely nice to boot. Probably knows a lot of people, but not exactly “popular.” He’s the guy that’ll stay up late with you just so you have someone to talk to, or because you’re still scared since you watched that scary movie a little while ago. It’s pretty hard to tell whether or not this guy likes you, because it seems that he treats almost everyone with such sincerity, but that might be what draws you in. If you go for this guy, make sure you’re the one that starts the conversation sometimes. It’s not often that he’s the one being talked to, instead of him checking up on a friend. This is a good hint to him that he means something to you. If you two do manage to get together, don’t ever let him go. He may be the best thing that ever happened to you. Well, for now.

  • Guy #5 - Hype Beast

This guy stays “fresh,” and usually hangs out with a large group of people, a co-ed clique. There’s an awful lot of different personalities to this type of guy, he could be nice one day, a jerk the next, and flirty the day after. If you’re looking for a relationship that’s a little different each day, go for this guy. Do not go for him otherwise. His shapeshifting nature is often frustrating and will leave you very confused sometimes.

For everyone:

Hopefully reading this has helped a little bit, I spent a while writing it. Sorry that the section for the girls so so like… short. I wasn’t sure how far into detail I shoulda gone about the guy types :X Please pass this on to anyone you think may be in need of it. And, if you ever have any questions, please, submit them to my formspring. The submissions are anonymous, so you wont have to worry about people finding out what you ask, and I post all my answers right here, on tumblr.
